Maternity photoshoot followed by newborn and sitter in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Maternity Photographer Durham

I first met Claire and Matthew at their maternity photoshoot at Chopwell woods. It was pretty cold however, Claire and Matthew were determined to not let the weather get the best of them and, Im so pleased they did. Claire brought her own dress which, ironically got delayed in customs but thankfully it arrived before baby (she was due 2 weeks later). The maternity photoshoot was in February so, a lot of the trees were bare however, we did manage to find some evergreens and some lovely burgundy shrubs. The location was beautiful and perfect for this type of photoshoot.

Fast forward four weeks and baby Thomas arrives (yes, he was late but who could blame him as at this point it was heavy snow and the roads to the studio were closed). When I saw him my eyes lit up, he had a full head of hair and his skin was flawless, not one milk spot in sight. He weighed around 6lbs and was so small. He was such a precious little bundle. We got going straight away and he adapted to his newborn photoshoot from the outset. He loved the faux fur and was really easy to put into position. He had a good feed before we started so, he didn’t even notice having his picture taken. Well done Thomas, you were amazing during your newborn photoshoot at Mini Bee Photography. Cant wait to see you at 6 months for your next session.
