We cover Maternity photography sessions in Newcastle Upon Tyne, County Durham, Gateshead and surrounding areas. You can choose to have your session at our studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne or choose a wonderful location in County Durham and surrounding areas in the North East of England. We do travel further for an additional fee for those that have a specific place they want their maternity photoshoot. Whether you choose indoor or outdoor we will make sure your maternity session is unique and special for you and your family.
Maternity photography sessions are best done between 28-32 weeks. This is usually when your bump is at its highest and most prominent however, we do these photoshoots all the way up to birth. We have a huge range of luxurious dresses and couture gowns in the studio for you to use and before the photoshoot we do a preparation call with you to first get to know you and introduce ourselves and then we go through what to expect at the photoshoot. We talk about any gowns you may have seen from us as well as preferred colour choices. We do have a large selection of wraps and maternity jewellery too and we will of course offer you these as well. We typically do the maternity photoshoots at our studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne however, we can also travel to surrounding areas such as Gateshead, County Durham or further distance for an additional charge.
Maternity photography session are completely bespoke so we go off your recommendation, if you are a ‘go with the flow’ person thats great too, we will ask you to describe your hair colour, length, skin type, height, size to work out which of our dresses will fit and suit you best and we can give our recommendation for you.
Family members can also be in your maternity photoshoot, so whilst on the phone, before your photoshoot we will go through styling for the whole family.
These sessions can be at our studio in Burnopfield or for an additional fee can be at a location. This is entirely your choice, whichever one you choose we can promise you will leave your photoshoot feeling absolutely fabulous after having an amazing time.
A lovely compliment to your maternity session is following with a newborn photography session. The we do this, we can combine your theme to show your bump to baby and incorporate similar styles throughout so that both photography sessions align in style, creativity, colour and flair.

FAQ
Do you supply outfits for the session?
We have a large selection of maternity gowns for you to use however, we dont supply any outfits for partners or children (unless under 1 year). We do a prep call with you before your session to discuss your photoshoot. Its during this call where we go over your styling options so that anyone coming with you can match to the outfits that you choose.
Do you do the hair and make up?
We are not registered to provide beauty treatment however, there are hairdressers and beauticians a few shops along from us. They are called Allure hairdressing and CA Beauty Academy in Burnopfield, County Durham
Is the session for ‘mum to be’ only or can my family get involved to?
All of our sessions are tailored to your requirements so, if you would like your partner and other children included as well you can of course, do this.
